Bio

In 2004 I realised the difference between being a comic artist and not being a comic artist was the “making a comic” thing. After a suitable period of feeling incredibly stupid I chose to make a comic about a character called Fetishman. The choice was at least in part due to the fact that he looked good in black and white and I probably wouldn’t be able to afford colour copying.

Since then I’ve settled into a twice yearly publishing regime, obtained an ISSN, produced a plethora of related merchandise, attended a number of fetish and comic fairs, had exhibitions at Coffee Cake & Kink, and Sh! (London) and the Subculture (Leeds), appeared in the magazines Forum and Desire, and overall have met a great number of fascinating people who have, after a small amount of prompting, found the comic isn’t scary at all but is actually quite a hoot.

There’s other stuff that’s less easy to quantify but, in short, life can be quite good provided one actively pursues something constructive or creative.
